About the DeLéon Leóna
DeLeón Leóna is a reserve, limited edition añejo tequila at the top of DeLeón’s range.100% Highland Blue Weber agave plants form the base of Leóna—DeLeón’s award-winning, tequila añejo. After distillation, Leóna is aged in American White Oak. Blending the art of tequila-making with the art of fine French winemaking, DeLeón’s master distillers then transfer the amber-hued liquid to French ex-Sauternes wine casks from Château d'Yquem, where it rests for more than a year.In its finished state, Leóna has the texture of cognac, aromas of ripe fruit and caramel, and rich, full-bodied flavors of cinnamon, crème brûlée, burnt orange peel, and cherries. In 2013, the Robb Report named DeLeón Leóna a ‘Best of the Best Grand Prize Winner.’
