What is a Coupe Glass?

The coupe glass (also known as a champagne coupe or champagne saucer) was originally invented for drinking champagne but has become widely adapted for holding cocktails. It is a stemmed glass with a shallow, wide mouth and broad bowl that has seen a resurgence in popularity thanks to the craft cocktail movement. The coupe glass is frequently used as an alternative and replacement to the V-shaped cocktail glass, and delivers an elegant and sophisticated presentation. Other than for the Martini, the coupe glass is our preferred vessel at Bevvy for cocktails that are served up.
