Navin Sharma

I started bartending back in 2011 while I was working in Radisson, India. I was inspired to join the bar after seeing the Bartenders are creating different cocktails that were liked by almost every guest. I spoke to the management team of the hotel and requested to move me to the bar from the restaurant which was granted and soon I was the part of my dream Platform. Since then I have worked 3 different bars as the capacity of the head bartender. In my 8 years of the stint, I have opened two bars and created thousands of cocktails and spoke to almost all the nationalities. I have traveled to different countries and with my conversation with different people, I have learned different regional ingredients and their unique taste which can evolve a new flavor in a cocktail

Since I worked almost all the formats of the bar in India so to excel new ideas and to get, the deeper knowledge about the guest mindset I moved to the Maldives and started as a “Head Mixologist with Amari at the Thari bar” and worked almost 4 years during my tenure I have been recognized and promoted as Asst. Bar Manager and Later Assistant F&B service manager.

Currently, I am working as a Private Dining Manager at The Residence Maldives Dhigurah.
