Aperol Sour Recipe

Aperol Orange Liqueur, Lemon Juice, Sugar Syrup, Orange Bitters
An Aperol Sour a cocktail that has a lovely balance of bitters from the spirit and a citrus, sweetness from the mixers. Aperol was originally created in 1919, it did not become sought-after until after World War II.


1 3/4 oz Aperol orange liqueur
3/4 oz lemon juice
1/4 oz sugar syrup
1 dash orange bitters

Preparation: How to make an Aperol Sour

  • Shake well over ice in a shaker. Strain into a sour glass, and serve.
