The Cosmpolitan Cocktail (or Cosmo) is a drink that gets an unfairly bad rap. It’s often dismissed as “girly” or “unsophisticated,” but it’s actually a fairly classically-styled drink (and hey, who said girly was a bad thing?). This version of the Cosmopolitan Cocktail—our favorite—is made with citrus-flavored vodka, Cointreau, fresh-squeezed lime juice, and just a splash of cranberry juice. Nobody can really seem to agree who gets the credit for inventing it, but a similar Cosmopolitan Cocktail recipe appears as far back as 1934.

1 oz Cointreau
0.5 oz fresh lime juice
Splash cranberry juice
