The classic Gimlet is a simple, three-ingredient drink that most closely resembles its rum-based cousin the Daiquiri. Some Gimlet recipes call for sweetened, bottled lime juice, but we always recommend using fresh-squeezed juice whenever possible. It makes the Gimlet taste fresher, and it doesn't have all those weird, preservative-y flavors that go along with juices from concentrate.
