Godfather Recipe

The Godfather cocktail is a duo, make with scotch whisky and amaretto, an almond liqueur. It’s really simple to make, and just involves stirring the ingredients with ice—there’s not even a garnish! According to some accounts, the drink gets its name because it was a favorite of Marlon Brando (who played the role of the Godfather in the classic film), but more likely it was named after the character itself somewhat later.

2 oz scotch
1 oz amaretto

Preparation: How to make a Godfather
