The Grapefruit Shandy can be made with a pretty wide range of beers, with everything from light wheat ales to IPAs mixing nicely with the tart citrus. The former is a bit less overwhelmingly bitter, while the latter will make even the most masochistic of beer drinkers pucker up—in a good way. For the grapefruit, use either fresh-squeezed juice or a good, craft soda.
