Gypsy Queen Recipe

One of the first signature vodka cocktails to emerge in the United States after prohibition, the Gypsy Queen originated at the opulent Russian Tea Room of New York City. Because of it’s simplicity, this cocktail is a wonderful way to experience the richness of benedictine as its flavors are exposed by the cleanness of the vodka.

2 oz Vodka
1 oz Benedictine
Dash Angostura Bitters

Preparation: How to make a Gypsy Queen

  1. Combine vodka, benedictine, and bitters in a mixing glass with ice and stir.
  2. Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
  3. Garnish with a lemon twist.
