The margarita is a fruity and sour cocktail that can have a wide variety of flavors. Along with the many flavor options, it can be served many ways - neat, on the rocks, or blended. The margarita is the most common tequila-based cocktail in the United States.
|2.5 oz Herradura Silver Tequila|
|1 fresh cut red, orange or white habanero|
|2 oz fresh squeezed lime juice|
|.5 oz Triple Sec|
|1 oz agave nectar|
|Habanero sea salt (or other margarita salt)|
Preparation: How to make a Habanero Margarita
- Cut habanero and place in bottle of tequila for at least one day (the longer the better). Shake vigorously in shaker, and serve over ice, with a light rim of habanero sea salt (for those of you fuego warriors out there).
