Jameson Julius Recipe

Remember those frothy, delicious Orange Juliuses you had as a kid? No need to go back in time to enjoy an adult, more refined version with the best part of being an adult included: booze! Fresh ingredients, homemade simple syrup, a good dose of egg whites and a touch of dark chocolate ensure that this Julius retains the froth and delight of those delicious drinks from days past, without the sugary aftertaste or preservatives to poison the palette.

More about Jameson Julius

Drink can be modified for sweetness and/or size of serving. I prefer 3/4 oz of lemon juice, just under an ounce of simple (Turbinado rich, orange) and a full ounce of egg whites. Red Breast, Dubliner or Tillamore Dew make for nice substitutions if you're not a Jameson fan. I love the Jameson and find this to be a refreshing, fun, frothy treat with the dark chocolate almond milk adding that little bit of "it" factor.
