The Sherry Cobbler is a fantastic drink to enjoy on a hot day in the shade. It was created in the mid nineteenth century and is one of the first drinks with ice to become popular. Many modern recipes call for club soda but the original was made with just Sherry and Sugar or simple syrup. Seasonal berries or local fruits give the cocktail an amazing freshness that is a joy experience and to serve.

- Add simple syrup and sherry to a mixing glass with ice and shake, hard.
- Strain into a goblet prepared with fresh seasonal fruit, cracked ice and a straw.
