Tom and Jerry Punch

24 eggs
2 lb powdered sugar
8 tsp cinnamon
3-4 tsp grated nutmeg
1.5 oz vanilla extract
8 oz dark rum
3-5 oz brandy
3 cups boiling hot water

Preparation: How to make a Tom and Jerry Punch

  1. Separate eggs, and beat egg whites stiff with electric beater.
  2. Add sugar gradually, then add cinnamon, nutmeg, vanilla, and finally add in half of the eggs yolks blend until smooth.
  3. Pour the mixture into a large punch bowl. Add the rum and the brandy, and then slowly pour in the hot water.
  4. Stir well and sprinkle with nutmeg.
