Tom and Jerry

The Tom and Jerry is a cozy winter cocktail that, despite being fairly complicated to prep, has long been a classic around the holidays. Essentially, this is a hot version of the classic Egg Nog, with a few twists for the sake of texture. Made with sultry brandy and dark rum, along with frothy eggs and some holiday spice, it's truly a seasonal treat.

The Tom and Jerry cocktail dates back to the 19th century, and was hugely popular around Christmas up until the mid-1900s. In recent years, though, it has gained a cadre of new fans, and it's safe to say this classic has officially been revived.
