Cheap Vodka That Doesn’t Taste Cheap
When it comes to vodka, inexpensive doesn’t always mean cheap. As a product category, vodka tends to be much less expensive than some of its cousins (like scotch or fine aged rum), so you’re pretty much never going to spend more than $100 on even the most premium, top-shelf products. And if you do, you’re probably getting ripped off.
But even within the vodka family, there are some products that get a little pricey, like Crystal Head Vodka and Stoli elit. While those are certainly delicious, not everyone wants to shell out $65 for a spirit that’s going to end up in a Moscow Mule, Bloody Mary, or White Russian. That’s why we put together this list of our 15 favorite vodkas under $30—sometimes you just need a decent house bottle to keep your guests happy, and you can save the fancy stuff for sipping by the fireside.
For this list, we stuck to standard vodkas, because comparing them to flavored vodkas is like apples and oranges (mostly because one category has, you know, apples and oranges in it). These are, in our opinion, the best cheap vodkas you can get, and we even included a few of our favorite local, California craft vodkas to make it interesting. So give these a taste, sip them on the rocks, or mix them in your favorite vodka cocktail—whatever you do, enjoy!
