Rhum Barbancourt Réserve Spéciale is a delicious rhum agricole—meaning rum distilled from pressed cane juice instead of molasses—produced in Haiti. Its pale gold color comes from spending 8 years in oak barrels, and despite being relatively inexpensive it’s a great rum to sip neat or on the rocks (or even to use in the increasing number of rum cocktails that call for rhum agricole these days).
