Belle Meade Bourbon

Belle Meade Bourbon is a Tennessee sour mash bourbon produced by Nelson's Green Brier Distillery. It is made with a high-rye mash bill (30%), giving it a spicy character that sets it apart from other bourbons.

Nelson's Green Brier Distillery was originally founded in the mid-1800s in Nashville, Tennessee by Charles Nelson. It shut down after the passage of Prohibition, but was revived in 2009 by Nelson's great-grandsons, Charlie and Andy, who have since put the distillery and the Belle Meade brand back on the map of craft American whiskeys.
