Larceny Bourbon

Larceny Bourbon is a bourbon made by Heaven Hill Distilleries, inspired by the infamous US Treasury agent John E. Fitzgerald. According to legend, Fitzgerald would periodically sneak into the rickhouses of Julian Van Winkle (of the famous Van Winkle line of bourbons) and steal from only the finest casks as they aged. Larceny Bourbon is branded as the heir to his palate, using wheat instead of rye and other grains to balance the corn in the mash bill. As a result, this is a fairly smooth, mellow product, similar in character to Maker's Mark and other wheat-heavy bourbons.
