Sazerac Rye

Straight Rye Whiskey
Sazerac Rye Whiskey, distilled at the Buffalo Trace distillery in Kentucky, takes its name from New Orleans' most famous cocktail recipe, the Sazerac. Contrary to what their marketing materials say, the drink was originally made with cognac, not whiskey—that said, this stuff is produced by the company that owned the original Sazerac Coffee House where it was invented. Sazerac Rye is a highly-regarded whiskey, garnering numerous awards from the San Francisco World Spirits Competition and others.
