The triple distilled Auchentoshan 18 is aged in American bourbon barrels for its lifetime. The result is a refreshing Lowland single malt scotch that's smooth and delicate in that trademark Auchentoshan style. But all that time in oak yields a few interesting elements. Namely: flavors of tangerines and green tea alongside more expected notes of toasted almonds, ginger and crème brûlée. Put it all together, and this is one dram that's hard to put down.
