Montanya Distillers was founded in Silverton, Colorado in 2008 by Karen and Brice Hoskin. The company relocated to Crested Butte in August, 2011 and opened in the Historic Powerhouse on Elk Avenue in November, 2011. Makers of fine aged rums in the Colorado mountains. Colorado rum, high altitude rum, female owned, female distilled, made from only four ingredients (Colorado mountain water, yeast, sugar cane, and a tiny touch of Colorado mountain honey that we caramelize ourselves.)
