About the Boilermaker
A boilermaker is an American beer cocktail consisting of a shot of whiskey and a glass of beer (usually less than a pint). Although the beer can be used as a chaser for the whiskey, the boilermaker is frequently consumed by dropping the whiskey into the beer, and drinking it in a single go.In the UK, a boilermaker is used to describe a half pint of draught mild ale mixed with a half pint of bottled brown ale.

2 oz whiskey
10 oz beer

Preparation

  1. Fill shot glass with whiskey.
