Damoiseau X.O. is an aged rhum agricole produced at the Bellevue Distillery on the island of Guadeloupe in the French West Indies.X.O. is created from first-press sugarcane juice, derived from sugarcane grown and harvested in the hilly region of Grande-Terre. After fermentation and distillation, the spirit goes directly into oak ex-Bourbon barrels, where it rests in the hot, humid climate of Guadeloupe for a minimum of six years. Damoiseau X.O. displays a profile of sugarcane, baking spices, mint, oceanic brine, and burnt orange peel.
