DeLeón Extra Añejo is a cask-strength, aged tequila made from pure Highland Blue Weber agave. Bottled at 108 proof, this rare tequila is one of the only cask-strength tequilas on the market.Extra Añejo is made from 100% Highland Blue Weber agave, which is hand-selected and harvested at the peak of ripeness. The most mature offering in DeLeón’s portfolio, Extra Añejo is aged for a minimum of 36 months in American White Oak. The resulting, amber-hued tequila has rich flavors of toasted almonds, caramelized agave, oak, honey, and cocoa with a sweet finish of vanilla and raisin.In 2012, DeLeón Extra Añejo earned the top spot on the Robb Report as ‘Best of the Best Grand Prize Winner.’
