DeLeón Reposado Tequila is a premium, aged tequila that hails from Mexico’s most profound tequila-producing region, the Jalisco Highlands.To create Reposado, Highland Blue Weber agave plants are carefully selected and harvested for ideal sweetness. The agaves are then roasted in traditional clay ovens, crushed, fermented, and distilled.In a twist that infuses the tequila-making process with the art of French winemaking, DeLeón’s master distillers age the spirit for up to eight months in American Oak, before finishing it in French Oak wine casks. The resulting, deep amber tequila showcases flavors of oak, spice, dried fruit, and roasted agave, and finishes with smooth vanilla and clove notes.At the 2009-2010 World Beverage Competition, DeLeón Reposado was named a ‘Best in Show Grand Prize Winner.’
