Highball

  1. A family of cocktails made with a distilled spirit and a larger volume of non-alcoholic mixer, commonly soda water, served in a tall glass with ice. A classic Highball is made with scotch, soda water, and a lemon wedge garnish. The tall, narrow glass in which it is served is known as a Highball glass.
