London dry gin

  1. A traditional variety of gin that is notable for its strong juniper flavors and aromas, as compared to a Plymouth gin or modern gin. Though London dry gin is heavily associated with the city of London (and England in general), it may be produced anywhere, and different countries use different legal definitions to determine its labeling. According to European Union law, London dry gin must be produced entirely with a re-distillation method, rather than an infusion method.
