Plymouth gin

  1. A variety of gin produced in Plymouth, England. While there were once many gin distilleries in the city, today there is only one brand, named (appropriately) Plymouth Gin. It is not as dry as London dry gin, but not as sweet as genever or Old Tom gin. Plymouth gin was once the official supplier of gin to the British Navy, and as such they also produce a Navy Strength gin that is bottled at 57% ABV.
