a bottle of Teremana Blanco tequilaa, with guacamole and a margarita

Inflation got you down? In an effort to make dining out a little easier on the wallet, Teremana Tequila is once again launching its “Guac on the Rock” campaign. In other words, Dwayne Johnson wants to buy you an appetizer.

From May 1 through May 31, Johnson-owned Teremana Tequila will reimburse customers up to $10 for any appetizer purchased with a Teremana cocktail at participating bars and restaurants.

The campaign was launched in 2021 and originally focused on covering guacamole around Cinco de Mayo, but the 2025 edition is expanding its reach to all appetizers.

According to a recent Morning Consult report, 84% of Americans say they’re eating out less often due to inflation. Guac on the Rock might stimulate the economy, or at least get you a discounted appetizer.

Teremana has also partnered with DoorDash to extend the offer to delivery orders, so you can celebrate Cinco de Mayo (or any day in May) at home if you don’t feel like going out.

The program is part of Teremana’s larger mission to “Share the Mana”—a brand ethos centered on gratitude, community, and accessibility. This year, the company will reimburse up to $1 million in appetizer purchases. To participate, you simply need to upload a photo of your receipt showing that you purchased a Teremana cocktail and any appetizer. Then you’ll receive a $10 reimbursement via Venmo.

So go ahead and order the nachos to pair with your Margarita. Then put it on the Rock’s tab.
