Aeroplano Tequila is a 100% agave tequila produced in the central lowlands of Jalisco. Aeroplano is created by first cooking the heads of the agave plants in old masonry ovens, and then twice distilling and filtering the spirit. Aeroplano currently offers a blanco and reposado tequila, plus a ready-to-drink margarita.
Aeroplano Tequila Blanco
On the nose, the blanco tequila is fresh and subtle, with hints of agave and some fruit. Upon tasting, it’s very smooth and soft on the palate. It has tequila’s characteristic vegetal, agave taste, plus a bit of vanilla sweetness. With very little bite, Aeroplano Blanco is very easy to hold on the tongue and finishes soft and sweet.
In a traditional margarita (tequila, Cointreau and fresh lime juice), the Aeroplano stood up very well. It provided a noticeable tequila presence without dominating the other flavors.

Aeroplano Tequila Reposado
Aeroplano’s reposado tequila is aged between 3-11 months in white oak barrels. On the nose, the vegetal scent is subtle, and there’s a pleasant aroma of baking spices. It’s exceptionally round and soft on the tongue, with some peppery spice, sweetness and fruit notes. Its lengthy finish is very warm. Aeroplano Reposado probably works well in cocktails, but I was very happy sipping it.

Overall, my nod goes to the reposado, but both tequilas are quite good. And at a very affordable price point, Aeroplano is certainly a brand worth watching. Recommended.
Pretty good taste in both blanco and reposado!
great price
