You look like you could use a drink. Maybe it’s the last-minute shopping for gifts, or the influx of relatives who’ve just turned your house into a crowded hotel. Or maybe you just want to hoist something merry beside a roaring fire while toasting to your loved ones. Either way, Christmas cocktails are in order. So here are five festive drinks to enjoy on Christmas Day or your holiday of choice. With options ranging from gin-and-pine numbers to warming coffee drinks, there’s something for everyone.
HOLLY JOLLY (pictured above)

1.5 oz Gin
.5 oz Pine Liqueur
.75 oz Vanilla Syrup
.75 oz Lime Juice
3 Sprigs Mint
Soda
Shake with ice, and strain into a collins glass. Top with soda, and garnish with pine needles.
BONNIE VEE TODDY

.75 oz Santera Añejo Tequila
.75 oz Strong Black Tea
.5 oz Fresh Ginger and Honey Syrup
.5 oz Fresh Lemon Juice
Combine ingredients in a mug and top with hot water. Garnish with a cinnamon stick and a clove-studded lemon peel.
SILENT NIGHT
1.5 oz Novo Fogo Barrel-Aged Cachaça
.5 oz Cocchi Vermouth di Torino
.25 oz Benedictine
.25 oz Vallet Amargo
2 dashes Scrappy’s Chocolate Bitters
Stir with ice and strain into a cocktail glass. Garnish with an orange twist.
HOT FRITZEL

1 oz Jägermeister
.5 oz Hans Reisetbauer Hazelnut Eau de Vie
.5 oz Vanilla Brown Sugar Syrup (equal parts sugar to water with vanilla extract to taste)
3-4 oz Hot Chicory Coffee
Combine all ingredients. Top with fresh whipped cream and a dust of cinnamon.
SASQUASH SOUR
at Jardin, West Palm Beach
2 oz Bourbon
3 tsp Butternut Squash Pureé*
4 Sage Leaves
1 oz Maple Syrup
3/4 oz Lemon Juice
1 Egg White
Shake all ingredients without ice for 40 seconds. Add ice and shake for another 15 seconds. Strain into a coupe and garnish with a sage leaf.
*Butternut Squash Pureé:
1 Butternut Squash
3 Tbsp Butter
1 Pinch Salt
Pureé until smooth.
