Charles Joly, the former Aviary bartender, Diageo World Class winner and Crafthouse Cocktails founder, has a new venture. It’s a barware collection created in partnership with Fortessa Tableware Solutions, and it’s set to hit shelves this fall. So if you’re in the market for some new bar tools, acquiring ones designed by Charles Joly is probably a good bet.
Crafthouse by Fortessa includes your classic Boston shaker, mixing glass, Hawthorne and julep strainers, plus a barspoon, jigger and muddler. From there, you’ve got other handsome, functional tools like a channel knife, bar knife and bottle opener. Then there’s the actual glassware, and let’s not forget the smoking box (pictured) for infusing your cocktails with a little something extra.
“I wanted to create barware that people would look at 10 years or 50 years from now and want to use,” said Charles Joly. “This line is timeless and works. I hope people enjoy it for years to come.”
Crafthouse by Fortessa will be available nationwide this September via Williams-Sonoma. Here’s more of what you can look forward to.
